As we travel around the metro, there are times we see a shop that just popped out of nowhere which got us curious. You don't exactly know whether they have good food or not, but when people start building up everyday you pass by, surely, you will be tempted to try it out too!
And so we stumble upon this Food Truck, located along Muntinlupa National Highway, right in front of the RMT Industrial Compound.
One evening, I was on a bus and was looking outside the window, suddenly a truck struck my eye. It was a new food stall that was just parked along the sidewalk. I decided to check on it the following day, but the truck was gone. So i got curious and looked for it whenever i pass by. I then found out that the stall was only open at night, and that the food truck is called Maginhawa Streatery. Literally a truck that was converted into a kitchen as soon as they open for business, and a truck that moves out when they are already closed.

We asked Rommel, one of the owners of this brilliant stall, why they named it Maginhawa Streatery;
he said that they started with their concept through the famous Maginhawa Street in Quezon City, a stretch of different food establishments within UP Teachers Village that offers Korean, Japanese, Filipino and other cuisines. It's a favorite food destination of the different blog sites that feature great food and best places to eat. From this very own concept that they created the Menu using famous street names, like Carriedo, which they associated to their tacos.

To order, you fill out an order slip, wherein you will just check what you want to customize a specific meal. For example their Hi-Way 54 Burger, you can choose whether you like a single, double, or even a triple/monster patty, which of course, comes with different prices. You can also put add-ons like Cheese, Egg, Bacon, and whatever you want for a minimal additional price of Php10 - 25 per add-on.

Their Best Sellers are the Hi-way 54 Burger, and Calle Herrera Sausage (add it with chili con carne) and you have a good food on a budget. You can just add Php50 for the Fries and Drink.
I must say, i enjoyed the Calle Herrera Sausage though it does look a little pale/plain if you won't add the chili con carne, but then after every bite, you'll surely savor its yummy flavor. Their Buffalo Wings, on the other hand, has a hefty price considering they'll just serve 4 pieces (2 sets of chicken wings). It doesn't really give much of an impact of a tasty buffalo wings because they just hand it fried topped with sauce (better if they could coat it in a special marinade before they fry it). For the tacos, I wasn't expecting that they would serve soft tacos. Kinda craving for that crunchy taco though.

We didn't get the chance to try out all the food in their menu, especially the burger, as we got there already full, yet we still managed to dig-in and finish our food. Overall, the Maginhawa Streatery definitely has good food with value for money, which you can get at a minimum 100-peso budget.
